The terms below represent 100 common Japanese terms that are used in Judo.  The list is not intended to be exhaustive but presents those which are most common along with some which are less so.

Some of the terms are in colour.  These represent the terms that are expected to be known by Juniors looking towards their next belt colour.  i.e., if one is a white belt, you will be looking for the terms in yellow.  If one is an orange belt, you will be looking for the terms in green.  For Primaries, the only difference is that if they are ungraded or holding red tabs, they should be learning the terms in yellow.
